« I miss… Slow days »

Lazy, Lazy.

harajuku

I have been neglecting my blog a little recently. I’ll fill in the blanks at some point soon.I will have more time to write from now on, as I have become officially a housewife. No more work!

It was my last day Saturday and I am starting to feel just a little excited as I realise that, for the moment at least, my days of fitting into someone elses timetable are over.

Woo! Happy.

Today was my first Sunday off in Tokyo, so we walked down to Harajuku for a look around. We were lucky to come across the Tokyo Rockabillies, who are apparently not showing up as often as they used to.

I didn’t take too many photos of the various people posing in their weekend costumes, as I found it a little too zoo-like to be comfortable, but possibly I will get used to it soon and be able to get a few interesting shots.

I was a little taken aback by one fellow who appeared with his cat on his shoulder. A pretty little puss who seemed quite at home with all the attention she was attracting. Too, too cute.

Michael and I went for a walk in the evening and due to the lack of decent cafes in the general Shinjuku direction, ended up sitting at the counter of the Natural Lawson convenience store for a few hours with our little plastic bags of fruit salad and dessert.

Perfect start to my holiday if you ask me.
