A performing troupe has appeared downstairs this evening.

I wish Patrick were home, I would have made him take me down to watch.

I am hesitant to go down alone as I tend to try and blend into the crowd at performances likely to recruit audience members, and I definitely don’t blend into crowds here.

I can see fairly well from the window, so have been enjoying the unexpected show from afar.

I have seen magicians, fire throwers and some amazing kung fu that defies belief.

We are a fair distance from the city centre here, and the square beside our building is far from busy, but quite a crowd has gathered to watch.

Hefei is full of surprises.
