We were supposed to be halfway to Tokyo by now…

Unfortunately we are back in our living room again as things didnt go to plan. 

Everything seemed to be working out very well when we were pulled out of the long queue to check in through Business Class where they didnt blink an eye at our 8kg or excess baggage~ lovely!

Then there was no queue at customs, and we got our GST refund without a hitch and wandered up to the gate.

It seemed a little odd that they had listed the boarding time at 905am when it should have been closer to 10am but I let that go.  It also seemed a little strange that the sign above our departure gate displayed details for a 3pm Cathay flight to HK, but we ignored that too.

It was the announcement full of umming and ahhing that advised us that our flight wasnt departing until 9pm that we found a little irritating.  9pm! NOOoo.

So we were handed our cabcharges and hearded back out of the airport.

Now there is no more space in our hotel for us tomorrow when we arrive as they are all booked out, and Wotif.com’s credit card booking system isn’t working so I cant book the other I had planned.

Too many problems!

Maybe I will have a nap and start this day again in a few hours.
