slippers I got the washing machine working today. It took a while. I read the instructions carefully and managed to complete the first wash while I cleaned the bathroom… Then the second time it didn’t work, so Patrick pressed all the buttons and got it working, but it seems to be taking forever to finish.

Oh well.

I also got the drying whatsit in the bathroom working. I’m in love! It has already dried all the t-shirts and socks I washed earlier, just in the time it takes to work out how to use the washing machine a second time. So clever!

I am very much enjoying all the clever high-tech devices in our apartment. I don’t think I am going to want to live anywhere else now.

ESPECIALLY now that I have my lovley new slippers to keep my feet warm on the floorboards!

It is going to be very very difficult to avoid shopping in this town…..
