Coincidences.
It’s past 3am, but because we have absolutely nothing we have to get up for in the morning, Patrick and I have automatically switched to night mode, and are both sitting about quite wide awake.
I remember studying at some point a paper about some people who claimed that rather than sleep, they would fit in a good hour or two of meditation a day and spend the other 23 or so hours bright eyed and bushy tailed.
I want to learn how to do that. It’s officially on my to do list.
Before finishing up work, I was still regularly meeting new students I hadn’t met previously. Some of them were really lovely, so it was quite a pity I hadn’t the chance to see them more.
One girl who’s English was excellent from studying in Vancouver for a year was interested to hear I was from Melbourne as she hadn’t been to Australia, but regularly downloaded a Melbourne based TV series off the internet which she absolutely loved.
I’m not sure how she came across it, but she had apparently randomly purchased the series after browsing a few other options. Quite a coincidence in itself I thought, being that there aren’t so many Melbourne based series anyone would really want to buy.
I had to laugh when she said it was called “The Secret Life of Us” and she LOVED that dark haired writer guy in it. She nearly fell off her chair when I told her I dated him in high school.
What are the chances?
