flowers There are some amazing florists here.

I was hanging about one this afternoon trying to surreptitiously take some photos without looking too odd. It didn’t work so well, so will have to go back with Patrick for cover.

They sell the prettiest little bouquets of flowers. Tiny things with beautifully matched colours.

They are quite expensive at about $15 each, but would be a perfect gift. Beautiful and not as embarassing to receive as a huge bunch.

I am really looking forward to learning how not to kill pot plants when we get back to Hefei. I want to be able to make little posies from my own garden.

Ooohhh.. I want to open a florist in Hefei! A good idea! I must start trying to convince Patrick.
