I spent this afternoon at the market buying plants and flowers for the apartment and dropping off some photos of temple gardens to be printed.

There is something about the sight of leaves and flowers that can lift my spirits no matter how grumpy I may be.

I wonder what it is about the simple outline of a flower that is so beautiful?

I somehow stumbled across the website of Studio Tord Boontje today, and I love everything about it. Such simple, beautiful designs, I think I could have one of everything…

Two of my favourite items were the Dye-cut wool Little field of flowers rug and the cut paper Midsummer light.
